Tire Industry Association (TIA) Member
TIA is an international association with over 5000 members representing all segments of the tire industry including those that manufacture, repair, recycle, sell, service or use new and retread tires. Members also include suppliers or individuals who furnish equipment, material or services to the tire industry.
TRRAC is a working group of recycling professionals within the Tire Industry Association with expertise in marketing, processing, collection, crumb rubber and end product manufacturing. TRRAC’s mission is to ensure long term viability of tire and rubber recycling worldwide, while pursuing economic and environmental benefits.
TRIB is a non-profit, member supported industry association with hundreds of members in North America and in many countries around the globe. Their goal is to provide the motoring public (both in the private and public sectors) with the most up-to-date information about the economic and environmental benefits of tire retreading and tire repairing.
RCC’s Goals and Stockpile Reduction, Civil Engineering & Ground Rubber committee member. RCC’s objective is to improve scrap tire management practices and expand the quantities of scrap tires that are recycled and beneficially reused. Members include the USEPA, state environmental agencies, tire industry representatives, and academia with expertise in management, market development, and application technologies.
Participant in establishing goals and objectives to understand and improve cross border issues related to scrap tire generation; scrap tire prevention; scrap tire markets, scrap tire pile cleanups; and development of a scrap tire management experience handbook.
The Accepted Practices Exchange (APEX) is an initiative of the Convention Industry Council that is bringing together all stakeholders in the development and implementation of industry-wide accepted practices to create and enhance efficiencies throughout the meetings, conventions and exhibitions industry.
